Helder Costa may not have started a league game for Leeds United yet, but he’s certainly already made an impact in a white shirt.
He got his second assist of the season on Wednesday night – setting up Eddie Nketiah for the only goal in the Whites’ win against Brentford.
He set up Nketiah earlier in the season for the opening goal in the Carabao Cup clash against Salford City.
The Portuguese winger posted on Instagram to commemorate the Whites’ 1-0 win against the London club, and the post was quickly hijacked with fellow professionals praising him.
Costa’s former Wolves teammate Dave Edwards also took to the comment section to praise the winger. He stated that he missed the assists that the trickster used to provide for him.
The pair played together at Molineux, and Costa assisted the Welshman three times during their spell together at the Midlands outfit.
Some of his current compatriots also wanted to congratulate the winger.
Kalvin Phillips was quick to comment with a fire and a love heart emoji.
Other United players also swarmed the 25-year-old’s social media page with multiple emojis.
