Wolves’ Adama Traore has been exploring a new position this pre-season and it appears that his latest comments have pleased some of the Molineux support.
The club play in the second leg of their Europa League tie with Crusaders tonight, heading into the game with a two goal margin. During the first leg, Traore – usually a winger – played right wing-back and was one of the star performers.
His attitude towards the positional change has drawn praise from a number of Wolves fans.
One fan said there’s already been such an improvement on last season which had to have been down to Nuno Santo’s involvement. Others stated that he could feel like a new signing if he were to keep things up.
Traore played 36 games last season scoring just once but laid on an assist three times. His primary position was at right-wing and also played as a centre-forward quite frequently.
Some believed that there is still a lot of work to be done with a couple of supporters criticising his crossing although one said that looked significantly better last week against Crusaders.
He's looked great so far. Such an improvement on last season. Can tell Nuno has been working with him

He needs consistency but Cardiff home and Burnley away I thought he was awesome. If he comes to the party we will have some player I keep getting told he has no end product. , But he creates chances we just miss them

Fair play to Adama, he’s knuckling down and trying to change his game for the better of the team. Hope it works out, think against the “lesser” teams is a good option.

Could feel like a new signing if he keeps it up.

Can’t deny he’s good at that, it’s his crossing that lets him down… That said his crossing seemed significantly better against Crusaders, let’s hope that continues.. ????

Still a lot of work to do on his ‘give and go’ passing and weight of delivery on final pass
