“Absolutely shocking” – A lot of Gers fans are appalled that Glenn Middleton has joined Hibernian on loan.
The reason they are angry is because Hibs have refused to do deals with Rangers in the past – one particular incident that annoyed a lot of Gers fans was the one that saw them miss out on Scott Allan.
He instead joined Celtic – and that is still remembered by many of the Gers faithful.
Rangers, of course, just thrashed Hibs 6-1 at Ibrox – but a lot of their fans are angry that one of their brightest young prospects has gone on loan to a club that have flat out refused to negotiate with their club.
See the best of the reaction below.

Complete shambles. A club who can’t sell us players but we loan to them?

Good luck Glenn but after Hibs refused to deal with Rangers over the likes of Scott Allen theres no way he should have been allowed to go there

There’s some clubs we should never entertain, and they are one of them. Does everyone forget the treatment when we tried to sign Allan?

Yep that and the cabal when they tried their best to kill us off. Really disappointed in this I know it was his preference but not the right move for us!

A club that was determined to take our badges off us , attacked our fans and players and refuse to business with us at all cost and we go and loan them a cracking young prospect to help them better there play absolutely shocking from the decision makers on this one ???? ????

A lot of Rangers fans are fuming that their board have allowed Middleton to join Hibernian because of Hibs’ behaviour in the past.
He’s gonnae come back with superstar passing abilities….. Sweet????

Apparently it was Scott Allan that passed the medical

Should have sent him somewhere with high expectations and demands. One good pass a game and he’ll be thinking he’s Messi.

Other Gers fans are joking that Middleton will become a world-class player under the guidance of Scott Allan. This is because elements of the Scottish media decided to focus on Allan’s pass in Hibernian’s 6-1 defeat to Rangers – rather than Steven Gerrard’s sides performance.
