“Such a moronic move” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are fuming that their club have failed to sign Paulo Dybala.
News emerged last night that Spurs had agreed on a fee – and the player was keen to join, but the move fell through earlier today.
The reason for this is believed to be because of the player’s image rights – Juventus also had concerns about sorting out a replacement, so they pulled the plug on the deal.
There was hope a loan deal could be pushed through, but that also failed, and Tottenham will have to settle with Giovani Lo Celso.
These Spurs fans are devastated that their club could not seal Dybala’s signature.
See the best of the reaction below.
Paulo Dybala to #thfc is now definitely off with wages and image rights proving to be just too expensive for Spurs. | @ed_aarons

Many Tottenham fans are simply too sad at this news – and they cannot believe that the deal has fallen through after it looked like it was going to be completed.
He only did it to make poch feel better… now he’ll say “there i went for him and it didn’t work not my fault”

Such a moronic move by Levy, he basically just put up a show for the fans only to kick us in the jewels. Both issues were known atleast 2 or 3 days ago and we pretended to be seriously interested when we didnt have the necessary funds. Clasic Levy complete joke from the club.
