In an era where football clubs go overboard when making announcements, such as Southampton creating a cartoon for the signing of Che Adams, Everton refreshingly gave the bluntest of statements regarding when their new kit reveal.
A message simply stating when a kit will be announced seems a rare thing to witness, but Everton did it, sending their fans into private detectives trying to decode what the hashtag #StDomingo meant.
With many fans suggesting this would mean Everton alluding to its famous past, fans were worried that Everton’s traditional kit of a plain royal blue top would change into blue and white stripes, like the kit Everton had when they named, St Domingo.
What is clear, however, is that Everton fans cannot wait for the unveiling of a new kit, as seen below:
