Liverpool fans have been reacting on social media to the Reds’ announcement of their 2019/20 Champions League squad, and it’s fair to say that it has gone down very well with the Kop faithful.
The announcement was made early on Wednesday morning as Liverpool prepare to face Red Bull Salzburg, Belgian side Genk and a repeat from last season, Napoli.

Liverpool’s squad cropped up a few surprises for a couple of young players and will provide them with the experience to grow as a professional.
Here is the full squad: Alisson, Elliott, Firmino, Salah, Gomez, Henderson, Keita, Lallana, Lonergan, Lovren, Mane, Matip, Milner, Origi, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Robertson, Adrian, Shaqiri, Fabinho, Ven den Berg, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Alexander-Arnold, Brewster, Jones, Kane, Kelleher, Larouci, Lewis.
New young signings Harvey Elliott and Sepp van den Berg were the shock additions to the squad and Liverpool fans responded in delight with their particular inclusions in the team.
