World Cup winning youngster Rhian Brewster made his well-awaited return to first-team football this summer following a serious injury last year.

The youngster has scored four goals in five games for the Reds during pre-season, leading to manager Jurgen Klopp admitting that Brewster will play a big part in the club’s season.

With Daniel Sturridge leaving the club at the end of his contract, it provides the 18-year-old with an opportunity to be the back-up to Brazilian hitman Roberto Firmino at Anfield.

Klopp has expressed his fear towards the physical condition of his star front three as they have all played in major tournaments this summer, so Brewster could be seeing Premier League action before we know it.

A lot of Liverpool fans are excited about the upcoming season for Brewster if he can stay injury free. A few Liverpool fans are calling for him to start the opining game of the season against Norwich.

Here is the best of the reaction.
